Helen Crenshaw-Holt Obituary

Helen Camille Crenshaw-Holt

Helen Camille Crenshaw-Holt transitioned into heaven peacefully early the morning of March 25th. Aged 55, She was the adopted daughter of beloved Mary Carmegnani-Crenshaw and beloved Joseph W. Crenshaw of Tallahassee, Florida who preceded her into heaven. She is survived by her husband Stephen Wallace Holt and brother William Donald Crenshaw.

Helen's spirit transcended time and space - in Latin, "suis generis" (one of a kind); she touched and loved people everywhere she went, changing their lives forever. Unique in every way, a beautiful radiant aura surrounded her. She gave unconditional love to all - plants, animals and people. Helen's passions were all God's creatures, laughter and true meaningful friendships.

In the words of the song written for her wedding day, "She gives to everyone what they need and so much more, Rubies and Diamonds all across the floor. Every creature and little one is sure to find a home. When they look in to…, when they look into my baby's eyes." - Red Priest (aka Stephen Wallace Holt).

There is now a new star in the sky, never to be forgotten. Blessed are those who knew her. Long live Ruby Diamond and Red Priest!

My deepest heartfelt sympathy at this most difficult time.
Red, I only met you and Helen recently, during her hospital stay.
What a beautiful woman, inside and out. She made a great impact on me and I will always remember our first encounter . Helen was
Someone that made you feel special as soon as her eyes connected to yours. Red, I know how much she meant to you,
Just by your presence in her space. All the times I visited her room
I got to share in many special moments. I especially liked her fiery
Quick comebacks. Please relay my condolences to her family
May her light continue to shine in your heart
Love, Batchy

It is with great sadness that the earth has lost Helen. We were in first grade together, childhood neighbors & friends and later worked together. She was always so beautiful. Deepest sympathy to her husband and her brother. I'm just so sorry to hear of this sad, sad news.

Remembered with love. Ruby's smile and heart were as warm as Louisiana sunshine, lighting up everything and everyone around her. God bless and keep you.

So sorry to read of Helen's death. I was there on the day of her wedding at Joe and Mary's home. I worked with Mary in the Florida House of Representatives. In fact I shared an office with Mary in the beginning of my legislative career.

We became good friends. Mary took me under her wing and showed me around, where House Documents was, the Senate bill room and so forth.

I know that Mary and Joe were waiting on Helen when she got to heaven. They loved her dearly. My sympathy to you, Donnie and Stephen.

My condolence to the Crenshaw-Holt Family. May the God of all comfort sustain you during this difficult time. -Isaiah 61:1,2
