We have warm memories of Pastor Jack. Our sincere condolences to Sis. Alena and the whole family. He sowed so much into our young adult lives in West Palm. One day we can all share together in the presence of Jesus.

My prayers are with you. Anyone who new Rev. Carter would tell you he was loving and caring Pastor. He was like and Angel God placed on earth to help people when they were hurting so deeply. I know for sure he not hurting anymore he is with God now. He has reaped his reward now and we all shall see him again one day. May God be with the Carter family during this sad grief time.

My heart is full of wonderful memories. As a teen I learned from his and Alena's teaching at youth camps and summers in Orlando. At Campmeetings in Jacksonville all of the PKs would unite to convince our parents "we'll be fine!" as we headed off for adventures of our own while our parents attended meetings. Bro. Jack would always have words of humorous, yet-serious, advice for us as we drove away. Later, when he prayed at the dedication of my son, I felt honored to hear some of the same words lifted up in a prayer for my child that I had heard him pray over me as a child. I was blessed to have had such a warrior touch my life. We will all miss him.

Everyone who knew Brother Jack Carter knew a gentle, loving man of God. "I love you, Brother," and "I love you, Sister," were two of his most familiar phrases, and when you heard them, you knew it came from his heart. Brother Carter is now with God, Whom he so lovingly served, but his memory has a permanent place in our hearts. I love you, Brother.

My love and prayers are with you, as they have been in the past and continue to be in the future. I couldn't have "loaned" my office chair to a better person. We'll miss Jack's visits. Alena, be strong, and come back to us when you feel up to it - we are here for you. Kathy @FLC
