Jessel Bauer Obituary
Jessel Alan Bauer, 57, a retired brick mason and owner of J.A. Bauer Masonry, left his family on earth and joined a bigger family in Heaven on September 21, 2012.
Born January 20, 1955, in Tallahassee, he was a son of the late Herman Oscar and Nettie Collins Bauer. He attended First Church of the Nazarene and was an avid FSU Seminole football fan.
He is survived by his son, Chadwick Bauer, of Tallahassee; Chad's mother, Rose Bauer; sisters, Gloria Freeman, of Quincy, Kathy Pilcher, of Havana; four nieces; three nephews; three great-nieces; two great-nephews; his best friend, Hooch the Dog.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Norman and Gary.
The funeral is 11:00 AM Monday, September 24, 2012 at Abbey Funeral Home. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service on Monday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Big Bend Hospice. Online condolences may be made at www.abbeyfh.com.
