Jimmie Henry Obituary
On June 30, 2015, God took a special angel home. Jimmie Lee Henry was born to the late James and Geneva Elem Henry in Jacksonville, Florida on December 29, 1949. Jimmie graduated from Stanton High School in 1967 and furthered his education at Florida A7 M University where he received his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. He joined the U. S. Army in 1969 and served until he was honorable discharged in 1972. He leaves to cherish his memories, a loving wife of 32 years, Cynthia Henry; three daughters: Shelise Edwards (Bruce), Janise Patterson (Elton), and Ja'Nay Henry; four grandchildren: Brycen, Elton Jr, Bryn and Jayce; one sister-in-law, Diane Henry; one aunt: Martha Henry; three nephews: Duine Henry, Dwaine Henry and Eric Wooten; one niece: Natasha Henry-White (Richard); and a host of relatives and close friends. Hagan & Bradwell Funeral Service of Monticello, 175 N. Railroad Road St. (850)997-1300 is in charge of the arrangements. Funeral services will be held 11am on Saturday,July 4, 2015 at Memorial MB Church, Monticello, FL. Viewing will be held on Friday, July 3, 2015 from Noon to 8 PM.

Cynthia and family- Jimmy was hoot to work with in the days of Gerald Lewis as Comptroller as well as General Milligan. We both shared the same birthday and he was always so thoughtful to call and wish me A "Happy Birthday" , as I always did the same with him. he was a great guy and loved you all very much!
I will always remember his infectious smile and his generosity and compassion with others..
