Dudley,
As high school classmates of Judy's we were all sad to hear of her death. We have wondered with each reunion we have had over the years where she was and wished that she could have come and shared time with us. The obituary in the paper was beautiful and such a tribute to a great lady. Our prayers are with you and your family.

I would like to add to the list of Judy's qualities. She had the sense and wisdom of a mature adult while still keeping the wonder and fun of a child - and that was infectious. I never knew "stuff" you found with a metal detector could be so interesting.
She was a patriot, and would share her thoughts and opinions. She would listen to my thoughts and opinions as well, and even if she didn't agree, she respected my point of view.
Mostly, Judy lived! She was never boring. My life is better having her (and Dud) as friends. I already miss the chats.
Dud, I wish you peace and many wonderful memories. Love, Maggie

Dear Dudley, I was in that first graduating class at NDA along with Judy and I remember fondly all the fun and good times everyone shared. Unless I am mistaken I'll bet she brought that same love of life with her throughout your 34 years together. Judy was a great gal.

Judy,
I have lots of memories of the holidays when we all got together at your mom's house [who can forget when I was in junior high and the dog would not let me be!] I always thought it was cool when you had the "bug" and you could drive us around!

We all said special prayers these past few weeks for you and for Dudley. Your life has helped us to really appreciate each day's blessings including the dull day at work or a rain-soaked day off. Thank you.

Dear Dudley,
We are thinking of you with Ben saying the Rosary for Judy this afternoon (Sunday, September 2nd). We fondly remember the times we visited you in Florida, at your home and business and near the place where the mermaids perform under water, when Margaret and we met you both for a visit over dinner together. Not only do we send our sympathy and prayers, a message of condolence has been left on your home computer. With our surrounding love for you, your mother and Judy's family.

Dear Dudley,
We have never met, but I am Uncle Ben's eldest daughter, close to Bob's age. I also looked forward to the annual visit from the Ledwells & it was never long enough. I am so sad for you and know losing Judy has been very difficult. After losing my nephew Eric last week we are all still so raw with sadness and grief over his loss that it makes us ache for you even more. It is so hard to lose our loved ones. Dear Dudley, I am Ben Browning's middle daughter. We looked so forward to the Ledwells coming to St. Mary's every summer. It was a highpoint for all of us as kids. We visited you and Judy when Daddy brought all 5 kids to St Pete in 1977 and we swam in your pool! What a thrill for country kids and I remember so well yours and Judy's gracious welcome. May God bless you in the days to come and give you strength at this very dear time.
