Lillian Rita Fulghum

Lillian Rita Fulghum, age 93, of Elkton, passed away on April 12, 2017 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born on August 17, 1923 in West Collingswood, New Jersey, where she spent her growing up years, before moving to Jacksonville, Florida in the mid 1940's. After raising her family, Lillian relocated to St. Augustine in 1982, where she was a Sales Agent for Herbie Wiles Insurance Company for many years. As a 50 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, she was past Matron of St. Augustine, Chapter # 12 O.E.S. Above all, Lillian was a devoted wife and a loving mother and grandmother, who will be deeply missed by her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Fulghum. She is survived by her five children, Richard Earl Coates, and his wife, Candy, of Tallahassee, FL, Rita Lillian Coates, of Elkton, Pamella Coates, of Jacksonville, Priscilla Saleeby, and her husband, Richard, of Middleburg, FL, Catherine Anne Mock, and her husband, Randy, of Jacksonville; and nine grandchildren, Lyndy, Darcy, Stacey, Roger, Samantha, Jack, Mason, Sarah, Caitlyn.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m Tuesday April 18, 2017, at Trinity Episcopal Parish. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Hills Cemetery, Sermon on the Mount, on St. Johns Bluff Road in Jacksonville.

A visitation will take place from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m on Monday April 17, 2017 at St. Johns Family Funeral Home, with O.E.S. services at 6:00 p.m.

Flowers are gratefully declined, and donations may be made, in Lillian's memory, to Trinity Episcopal Parish, 215 St. George St., St. Augustine, FL 32084.
