Goodbye to a dear Cracker,
Of all the memories and
acomplishments you have shared with my family over the years, your wit, fine camp cooking and intolerance for the raccoon will be endearingly missed and fondly remembered by generations. My deepest condolence to Miss Mary.
In upmost respect,

To say goodbye to a life long friend is no easy task, with so many memories of childhood, formable years, World War II, University of Florida, being Graduated from the University, respective careers, marriage, births, and finally a goodbye. Mitchell T. (Ted) Randell was a true life long friend, a fine Southern Gentleman, one whose word was his bond, one who will remain in the minds of those who survive him until he or she too leaves. Ted left an imprint in the History of Florida by his service in the Florida Legislature and to Lee County.Born and reared in the City of Fort Myers which he loved, service to his Country in World War II, his deep love of his family, his love of Florida and its Everglades, his friends, was Mitchell T. (Ted) Randell, a man whose word was his bond. It is and was my Honor to have Ted's lifelong friendship.

Ted, you were a wonderful human being. It was a pleasure to have known you and we treasure the experiences we shared with you. We have such special memories of you at the "Hunting Camp". We're sorry we never took the honeymoon you offered us, but we still have the card, and will keep it always. Thank you for allowing our families to share your wonderful world at "Devil's Garden". The photos are priceless. You will be missed more than words can say, but you will always be in our hearts.
