Patsy Summerford Obituary
Patsy Harper Summerford, 71, of Quincy, FL., passed away October 9, 2011, at her home. She was born June 21, 1940, in Albany, GA. to the late John Henry Harper and Sarah Maples Harper Horton. She was predeceased by her husband Louis F. Summerford. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Quincy, FL and was retired from the Florida Dept. of Highway Safety.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, October 11, 2011, at 10:00 AM at First Baptist Church, Quincy. Interment will be on the Bill and Clara Summerford Family Lot, Hillcrest Cemetery, Quincy. Visitation was held Monday, Oct. 10, 2011, from 6:00-8:00 PM at the First Baptist Church Chapel.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Allison and Ros Welborn of Quincy, a son and daughter-in-law, Daryl and Jan Summerford of Quincy, a sister, Sondra Adams of Orange Park, FL., a brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Ann Horton of Statesville, NC., a niece, Leslie Wickes of Green Cove Springs, FL. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Hunter Welborn, Hannah Welborn, Chad Nabb and Kyla Nabb and her dearest friend, Martha Hurdle.
Charles McClellan Funeral Home, Quincy, FL., 850-627-7677, is in charge of arrangements.
