Phillip...
You are, and will continue to be in our hearts and thoughts. Every holiday, and daily, weekly, monthly and yearly we remember how you made our lives better, just by being you. Loving, generous, humorous, and so much more. We love you and miss you, Phillip.

We think of you every day, Phillip. Some days we smile, remembering your love, compassion and sense of humor...and some days we're tearful for the loss of you. Life is not the same without you, but we feel so fortunate for having had you as our son-in-law and loving you as a son and receiving your love in return. God's Blessings and our love...

I was trying to find the right words to say to ya'll. These times are so hard, you can't find any. I know it's hard to believe that it will get better for you, but it does, just never the same. I found this poem and thought of you and your family. Garrett thought the world of (peanut butter). I knew him only as Phillip growing up in church, yes you heard me in church (Southside Methodist Church). Good times remembered there. Then at the ball park at Ft. Braden, loved those days and miss them. This is to everyone that loved him. LOVE YOU ALL
Those we love
are never really lost to us--
we feel them
in so many special ways-
through friends
they always cared about
and dreams they left behind,
in beauty that they added to our days . . .
in words of wisdom we still carry with us
and memories that never will be gone . . .
Those we love are never really lost to us--
For everywhere their special love lives on.

Steve and Janice,
Sometimes it is hard not to wish for one more day, one more word, one more chance to say goodbye. But rest assured that you two were a joy to Phillip every day of his life. I consider it a priviledge to have known Phillip. May his goodness live through you and the family. God Bless Phillip.

To Kim , Ashley, Tiffany , Angel , Steve and Janis my deepest sympathy. Phillip was one of those guys that when you were in his presence you just knew you were in the presence of someone very special , one of a kind. He had an unending unconditional love and compassion for family and friends. Phillip appreciated the simple things in life like Noone else I've ever known. I had the privilege and pleasure to experience that friendship daily for many years and I will miss him more than I can put into words. Go rest my dear friend.

What a kind-hearted and loving man you were! You always made me laugh when I seen you, yelling out "Hey Girl!" to me or "Squirrel!" really loud to my husband! Every time I saw you, I'd get a big bear hug and an "it's good to see ya! How you been?" You always had such a smile on your face. Kim, Tiffany and family, I love you ladies and pray that you are all doing alright. Peanut Butter is in a better place than any of us right now and no matter what, he's always by your side! He was an awesome man that will never be forgotten. Rest in Paradise Peanut Butter, until next time. I'll see you later!

I didn't know Mr. Phil very long but he left a lasting impression on me. He was my softball coach for the city league and lead us to the championship! I enjoyed his sense of humor and how he treated every one of us like his own daughters. Even years after, he always extended a friendly hello when I'd see him at the store. He will be missed! Sending peace and comfort to your family! <3
