Rita (Jones) Buhler CRAWFORDVILLE - Rita (Jones) Buhler, 72, of Crawfordville, died Sunday, September 9, 2007, in Tallahassee. The service will be at 2 p.m. EDT Thursday, September 13, 2007, at Fairchild Funeral Home (850-386-8686) in Tallahassee. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 241 John Knox Road, Suite 100, Tallahassee, FL 32303. Born in New York, she had lived most of her life in Florida. She served in the U.S. Air Force and later in the U.S. National Guard Reserves. Mrs. Buhler worked at Florida State University for 31 years. Survivors include her husband, Charlie Buhler of Crawfordville; sons, Ronald French and Kenneth French, both of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Stephen French of Tallahassee; and grandchildren, Corey and Tanner French, both of Wichita Falls. Mrs. Buhler was preceded in death by her daughter, Yvonne (Sissy) French, and a brother, Nat Polak.
