Robert Myers Obituary
Robert (Bob) Alan Myers died unexpectedly on Friday, February 17, 2017. Bob was born in Newark, Ohio on June 24, 1956. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Cathy, children Megan and Ian, grandchildren Clover and Colton, mother Hazel, and sister Beth. He is pre-deceased by his father Walter and brother Mike. He is also survived by numerous relatives, friends, coworkers and elevator union brothers across North America.
Bob was loved by so many. For this reason, the family has decided to hold a celebration of life for friends and family in both Tallahassee and Clearwater.
The Tallahassee service will be held on Saturday, February 25th at 10:30 am at Saint Paul's United Methodist Church, 1700 N Meridian Road, Tallahassee, FL 32303. There will be a reception immediately following the service in the Sanders Hall on the church grounds.
Life is so short and tomorrow is never guaranteed. There are everyday heroes among us; Bob is and always will be our hero. We can all learn from Bob's ability to work hard, love without limits, and to be kind to everyone always. Please take the time to thank and appreciate the everyday heroes in your life.

My deepest condolences to the entire Myers family. May God continue to give you guidance as you deal with the loss of such a special man.
I have not seen Bob for thirty-five years, but I wanted you to know I was deeply saddened to hear the news of his passing. Though we only knew each other from our business dealings, I can honestly say Bob made an impact on my career. He was fair, honest and just a genuine all around "good guy". God Bless him!!

Bob Myers was one of the most caring and honest men I have ever met. It's so hard to understand how someone so good could be taken so quickly. I feel honored to have known him. Bob will live on in the lives of his children and grandchildren. Rest in peace, my friend.

I want to offer my condolences to the Myers family.
I did not know Bob well except through seeing him at the hospital where he worked so tirelessly without complaint to maintain our elevators. I often joked with him that he should "get a room" in our building for those long maintenance projects that would take days to complete sometimes. I could tell Bob was a good man and I wish I could have had a chance to get to know him better. Bob literally gave his life in service to others and if he had been in the military he would have received the Purple Heart.
May his family find peace and know that he will be truly missed.

I have worked with Bob for a while. No matter what he was going through, he was always pleasant and kind. He loved his family and talked about them all the time. His life was a blessing. May G-d comfort his family and friends.

I only met Mr. Myers a couple of times and you could see how much his family meant to him and how much he meant to his family. People like that are so special. I am sending so much love and light to the family. I know how huge of a loss this is to everyone he knew.
