Greg met Steve via Watkins Engineers and Constructors in '85. They quickly became fast friends. We enjoyed many tailgate parties at FSU games in the 80's and 90's with Steve and Hazel, and Doug Barlowe & Co. Spent many a Saturday at the Greenberg's watching FSU games with the Barlowes and the Beams. Steve & Hazel were always the "Hosts w/ the Most." Greg & I were privileged to attend Jonathon's Bar Mitzvah and Benjamin's brist. I was honored to be invited to attend a Seder with the family in 2010. Steve was there for Greg when he was dying of cancer in 2009. Steve will always have a special place in my heart and in the hearts of my sons. Hazel, I'm here for you.

I worked with Steve for many years on a variety of design projects. He was a very unique and special person. He always mentioned his family whom he cared for dearly, especially Hazel.
I am very sorry for your loss.
