Adrienne Brennan

BRENNAN, Adrienne (Virginia M.) died April 11, 2008 at the Melech House of LifePath Hospice, Tampa. Born on Nov. 28, 1938 she was a native of Rochester, NY, had been a member of the Sisters of St. Joseph and was an alumna of Nazareth College, Bonnaventure University and Fordham University. Upon moving to Tampa in 1973 Adrienne served as the Executive Director of the Divine Providence Food Bank, Meals On Wheels of Tampa and Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Tampa Bay. She was a board member of the Francis House and was the founder and President of The Children's Aids Foundation of Tampa Bay. It was through the above organizations and more importantly by her very nature that countless individuals have been touched and the world changed. Adrienne is survived by her cherished and most-loved ones: Jasmine Streeter, Sammie Smith and Zachery Speights; brothers John J. Brennan (Kay) and Bartley A. Brennan (Sandra); nephew Sean B. Brennan and niece Kelly DeBruyn. A Memorial service will take place Monday, April 14, 2008 at 7:30 pm at Blount Curry Carrollwood Chapel.
