Alexander J. Bruce

BRUCE, Alexander J. 92, of Palm Harbor, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2008, at Hospice House Woodside. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Mildred Maria Bruce; daughters, Sharon Lee Espinosa and Deeon Maria DeVore; 6 grandchildren, Kimberly Beamer, Julie Holifield, Robert Barnette, Jim DeVore, Tom DeVore and Deanna Lucas; 10 great-grandchildren; of 1 great-great-grandchild. He worked for Pen Central Railroad for 44 years retiring as an engineer. He did volunteer work at Helen Ellis Hospital and contributed many hours to his church, Countryside Baptist. He will be sadly missed by family, friends and neighbors. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, Feb. 16, 2008, at 10:30 am, at the Countryside Baptist Church 2525 N McMullen Booth Road in Clearwater.
