Betty A. Thomas

THOMAS, Betty A. (Bland) of Trinity, Fl passed away peacefully, with her family be her side, on Nov. 12, 2009. She was born in Sioux City, IA on April 23, 1927. She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church of Seven Springs. She was an honor graduate of Iowa State University, & was a member of Tri Delta Sorority. She was an excellent water & snow skier. Betty was a member & played a great game of golf at Heritage Springs Country Club. Prior to her marriage, she was a stewardess with Northwest Orient Airlines, flying to various destinations in the Far East. Betty is survived by her husband of 56 years, Thomas J. Thomas, sons Gregory A. Thomas, & Scott B. Thomas, both of Manchester, NH, sister Merrynee Ross of Farmington, NM. She was pre deceased by her son Thomas J. Thomas, Jr. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren & 5 great grand-children. A memorial service will be held Thurs, Nov. 19 at 11am at Trinity Presbyterian Church of Seven Springs. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Betty's name to the American Lung Assoc.
