Charles McBride Obituary

McBRIDE, Charles Leroy Sr., 65, of Land O' Lakes, passed away April 22, 2005, in Dade City under the care of Hernando-Pasco Hospice. Charlie, as he was known, was a native of Cumberland, Md. He is survived by his mother, Naomi McBride of Cumberland, Md.; his son, Charles "Scooter" McBride of Cumberland, Md.; and four brothers, Robert McBride of Edgewood, Md., Marvin McBride of Felton, Pa., Jerry McBride of Abeline, Texas, and John McBride of Deer Park, Wash. Although Charlie had no family in Florida, he made his home in Land O' Lakes. He was the manager of our mobile home park where he was a friend to all he met. To some Charlie was a very special person in their lives. He put a smile in every day. His Florida family will miss him greatly. From Evelyn, you were the grandfather Branden never had, you made life special, I'll ring a windchime for you. From Jimmy, I'll always see your smiling face in the window. From Bill, you truly blessed my life by being my friend. I'll always remember you in my heart. From Linda "Bubbles" and Jim, you were more than a manager to us, you were our dear friend, we were thankful that you came into our life, even for the shortest time. We all will miss you. We love you. Charlie was laid to rest in his home state of Maryland. HODGES FAMILY FUNERAL HOME DADE CITY, FLA. (352) 567-0000 http://www.hodgesfuneralhome.com
