Charles PETERS
1941 - 2021
PETERS, Charles S. Sr. "Charlie" 79, of Seminole, Florida, passed away March 18, 2021, surrounded by his daughters. Charlie was born in 1941 in St. Petersburg, and lived there most of his life. He graduated from St. Petersburg High School and went on to attend Georgia Institute of Technology. He later attended The University of South Florida, where he graduated with an industrial engineering degree. Charlie had a 41 year career with Honeywell, Incorporated, where he worked in a variety of roles; retiring as HR manager in the early 2000s. Charlie had a passion for railroads, Florida history, and gardening. He was particularly fond of spending time at his Lake Bradley property in Floral City until the property was sold in 2016. Charlie loved dearly Honey, Sadie, and Zoey, his three cocker spaniels . He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Eleanor Peters. He is survived by his brother, Frank (Phyllis) Peters; five children, Jodi (Mike) Dudas, Roberta "Bobbi" (Tom) Blush, Sallie "Betty" (John) Day, Samuel "Larry" Peters, Charles (Linda) Peters Jr.; and six grandchildren. Private services will be held at a later date.
