Clifford E. Friend

FRIEND, Clifford E., 72, of Riverview, passed away Monday, August 18, 2003. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y. moved to Florida in 1953, he was a cons- truction supervisor and previous owner of Alafia Bait and Tackle. H e is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Dorothy; a son, Richard, Senior Master Sgt. Air Force and wife Alda; three daughters, Debbie Harlow and husband Michael, Cheryl Kraus and husband Bruce, Linda Wi lliams; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; stepson, Gary Austin and wife Kathi, Robert Austin and wife Burke; seven step grand- children; and numerous nieces and nephews. A member and an usher of S t. Matthews Angelican Church and chaplain and district chaplain for the Sons of the American Legion. The family would like to thank the Yellow Team of LifePath Hospice especially Karen. A Memorial service wi ll be conducted 10 a.m. Saturday, August 23, 2003 at St. Matthews Angelican Church, Bloomingdale Avenue just east of Hwy. 301.
