Clifford Friend Obituary

FRIEND, Clifford E., 72, of Riverview, passed away Monday, August 18, 2003. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y. moved to Florida in 1953, he was a cons- truction supervisor and previous owner of Alafia Bait and Tackle. H e is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Dorothy; a son, Richard, Senior Master Sgt. Air Force and wife Alda; three daughters, Debbie Harlow and husband Michael, Cheryl Kraus and husband Bruce, Linda Wi lliams; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; stepson, Gary Austin and wife Kathi, Robert Austin and wife Burke; seven step grand- children; and numerous nieces and nephews. A member and an usher of S t. Matthews Angelican Church and chaplain and district chaplain for the Sons of the American Legion. The family would like to thank the Yellow Team of LifePath Hospice especially Karen. A Memorial service wi ll be conducted 10 a.m. Saturday, August 23, 2003 at St. Matthews Angelican Church, Bloomingdale Avenue just east of Hwy. 301. Luncheon to follow at American Legion Post 148, Hwy . 301, Riverview. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to LifePath Hospice or St. Matthews Angelican Church in his memory. STOWERS-RIVERVIEW
