Although I only had the pleasure of knowing Dr. Spehe for almost two years, my memories of him will extend for an eternity!

Dan was one of my late father's best friends, and I was filled with many memories when I heard of his death. May he sail again in heaven, and may his family and friends find solace in remembering his life.

First, I offer my deepest sympathies to the Sprehe family. I knew Dr. Sprehe on a professional level back in the early 80's - I worked for another psychiatrist back then and used to always "run into" Dr. Sprehe when he made his "rounds" at the various hospitals. His reputation was impeccable and he demanded professionalism from other psychiatrists (which was sometimes hard to get) but Dr. Sprehe was always one of the "great doctors." Dr. Sprehe was always polite and humorous with me and always took the time to stop for a moment during his busy schedule to say a quick hello.

I knew Dan for over 30 years. As a young lawyer, he was a tremendous influence on me both professionally and personally. I will miss him.

Dear Nikki, I'm sorry to hear about your Dad. He and your mother were always so kind to me growing up. I think back fondly on those times. Please remember me to your mother. Hope all is well for you.

Dr. Sprehe was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed. I remember many converations with him over the years that I worked for the Hillsborough County Sheriffs Office where he volunteered many hours working for the County and Circuit Courts. My condolences goes out to his Family.

I fondly remember Dr. Sphere, I was his patient for almost 10 yrs. I feel I am where I am at today, because of his knowledge and caring. As a friend and doctor his teaching have stayed with me for over 30 years.
