I was saddened to learn about Mr. Bateman's death. I delivered Meals on Wheels to him 3 times a week for the last year of his life. He was always pleasant to me, even as his health declined. He was so devoted to his beloved dog Tessa, who seemed to be the light of his life. I hope that she found a new home.
