A year has passed since the good Lord called you home. Know that you are missed by so many people who loved you. I know that you are doing great things in heaven above because of the person you are -- someone who loves everyone because you saw the person for who they truly were. Always wanting to make things better and working hard to finish the goals you set. You always made the most of your time by helping others to achieve whatever needs they had. You have touched my life in so many ways and I treasure the times and things we shared together. As I think of you I can see your smile and hear your voice as you sing which is something you enjoyed that gave pleasure to so many others. You always gave comfort to those around you. You are still the brightest star that shines in the sky each night as I pray to you and your family. I am forever blessed that our paths have crossed and heaven is blessed to have received you. You are truly a beautiful soul.

They say there are people who come and go on your pathway in life but those that are truly special as David was has touched my soul and left his footprints on my heart. He was the most generous, kind, loving and giving person I have known and from the day he was born he lived life to the fullest each day and made sure the people who surrounded him were happy as well. David had an infectious smile and a contagious drive and zest for life. He did not just talk about what needed to be done he put his words into action and accomplished the goal he set out to do. David was always concerned for others and would not let any obstacle stand in his way in taking care of what needed to be done and was very gracious in his actions as well as motivating others. He was very passionate about life and all living things....always trying to make the world a better place. David is a person you will never forget he will always stand out among the crowd because he gave so much of himself to all of us and truly made an impression in my life, the world and every path he crossed. He always left you with your heart filled with love, a smile on your face and the drive to be passionate for whatever he wanted to accomplish for so many others. I so enjoyed our conversations he had me captivated because he was so interesting to listen to...David was so beyond his young years...he has given me so much and the world too....he truly cared about everyone. His love for music was just another way to express enjoyment and communicate with others. I miss the songs he sang and his strong voice and determination to hit the high notes but I will never forget them. He took everything he did very seriously and was a perfectionist. I am forever blessed to have been a part of his life and I miss him so that my heart aches. I will continue to pray for his family and to help them in whatever way I can. I know that Heaven has just received an Angel and when I look up in the sky each night as I pray for you David...I know you are the brightest star that shines.

Words cannot express the sadness that you and your family feel from David's loss.
I don't know him personally, but through you I heard a lot about him,his goodness and mostly, being a son of God.
We are all just visitors to this time, this place. We are all passing through. Our purpose here is to observe,to learn, to grow,to love....and then we return home to our maker.
David will surely be missed.
My prayers for you and your family.

I am truly sorry for your loss. If we could all live by David's example from his love for people, love for life and love for God, the world would be a better place. All who had the opportunity to meet or know David will remember his purity and goodness. I will keep him in my prayers.

My youngest Brother David passed away unexpectedly after having a simple procedure done as an elective type surgery. David was a very high functional Down's person who was able to articulate his opinion about issues concerning world politics, sports, history, religion, current events, and just about anything that was in the news. He loved learning, and he loved meeting people. His heart was purer than pure and his life was always interesting. He loved nature and animals and just about anything that came his way. Once he found something that grasped his interest he never let go until he was satisfied that he understood it enough to speak about it. David loved to read, and he recently purchased a book written by Joel Osteen called 'Become a Better You.' David enjoyed listening to Joel every Sunday so much that he wanted to buy his new book to become a better person both to his family and his friends, and to God. Everyone was important to David whenever you had a discussion with him by phone or in person. There were always many exciting things to talk about in his life, and he let you know that. But the most important thing in his life was his special relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. He so loved Jesus and made no exceptions to cloud his self-righteousness. He was not afraid to tell you what his belief was all about if you inquired. The Lord was truly his shepherd. David loved music and loved his guitar. In fact he loved to sing whenever he had the opportunity. His vocals were good and perhaps a little off-key, but he did not care, he was happy expressing his joy. There were quiet times in David's life too when he read a book or played his guitar. He enjoyed his quiet times in reflection which was good for his soul. All in all, David was an incredible force and an example of what each of us possess, and that was love. Knowing my Brother was all about love and his genuine concern and compassion about life and everything surrounding his being. My Brother, David, will be sorely missed, and thought about, every day of my life. He has given me many gifts, the gift of love, the gift of faith, the gift of courage, the gift of perseverance, the gift of patience, the gift of expression, the gift of pardon, and the gift of accomplishment. I will always love you David, and want you to know that I was truly blessed to have you as my Brother. I will think about you often and about all the great times we shared together all the days of my life.....until we meet again.... Love you! Michael

I used to work with David at Coral Landings Publix. He was polite, funny, and a little shy- and always a nice person to be around. He was truly unique, and I know that he is in heaven. Rest in peace, David. My prayers are with your family, who I know must miss you terribly.
