David POTTER Obituary
passed on to be with our Lord on April 13, 2015 after a five-month battle with cancer. David passed in the comfort of his home at the side of his loving wife, Sandi Jo Potter. David was born in Council Bluffs, IA to Mary Potter and Delbert Potter (father deceased). He is survived by brothers, Dennis Potter, Daniel Potter and Delbert Potter, with one beloved brother Douglas, deceased; and sisters, Darla Lewis and Debbie Andersen. David was blessed with four wonderful children, Adam Potter, born to his beloved mother, Susan Potter, Brooke Ruth and Randi Lynn Potter born to Lorry Potter, and Drew Boeser, born to Sandi Jo Potter. David leaves behind five grandchildren, Christopher Ruth, Justin Ruth, Mason Ruth, Jeremy Aeschliman and Jack Gabriel Bland, along with many brothers and sisters-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and people who were just blessed to have known David. David was a USMC Vietnam veteran, co founder of Delbert Potter & Sons Construction, superintendent for ARCO Construction National and ARCO/Murray, superintendent for Bay Area Building Solutions. David is fiercely loyal. Family and friends meant everything to him. He did not mince words, told it like it was, so you either loved him or did not like him very much, although I can say one thing, respect him you did. For just one person to have helped, touched and taught so many in their life, to give so much of themselves with no expectation in return, if only a few got the message, only one. God bless you my love. Memorial service will be held at Morgan Funeral Home on Monday, April 20 at 7 p.m., 727-847-3999.

Uncle David...I am always telling the story of the tornado of 1980...at Hancock Park!! You & Uncle Joe grabbed me and we were in your truck..and you had a bottle of Jim Beam..we were all scared...and we all took a big swig off the bottle!!! You will be missed!!!
