Dear Arlene and family
Since I have known you and Don for about 54 yrs, I have so many memories. Some I remember most were when K L and I lost our ice cream money and we sat on a street curb pretending to cry so someone would stop and give us money. Guess who stopped, Don and Arlene. Don didn't give us any money, he just yelled at us for pulling such a dumb stunt. When I got older and baby sat Jerry, Don would tease this then shy girl with no mercy. As a teen I have great memories of going with the EUB church youth to your home on Reeder Rd for those wonderful "weenie roasts". We always had such wonderful times at those "weenie roasts".
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
God Bless

It is with a heavy heart that I say good bye and see you later to my friend and Uncle Don. The times Don and Arline came to AZ was not to visit me it was to find the lost dutchmans gold. :) There was not a phone conversation with him that we did not talk about the mine and where it was located. It is with great honor that I will take a part of Don to stay and protect his mine in AZ.

I have fond memories of him during the times that Vicki, my sister Lisa and I played in Miss Softball America at Fisher Field in Dunedin. He was always encouraging and full of life. I want to leave the Graber family with a couple of my favorite quotes:
1) God understands our prayers even when we can't find the words to say them. ~Author Unknown
2) Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. ~From a headstone in Ireland

My dad, where do I begin? He has taken care of us and looked out for us since we were babies. It continued until his death. He always had a story to tell and words of wisdom from him or from God. He was unselfish, lovable, fun loving, and hard working. Those were just some of his good qualities. He loved adventures and making everyday into an adventure. I will miss him greatly, but he will always be a part of me. I was fortunate to have a sweet ending with my dad the night before he passed away.

Instead of the usual dread of plumbing problems, I found myself looking forward to a visit and a story from Mr. Graber. I'll never forget the time he turned off the outside main water valve in the middle of my 16 year old daughters hour-long showers! We laughed about that every time he came by the house. It was a priviledge to have known him. He will certainly be missed.

Dear Arlene,
Don's social and professional visits to our home always brought joy and mirth to us as well as to all of our animals over many years. He had a special gift for communicating with us and with our pets. The fact that he was a master plumber who satisfied our professional needs was an added bonus. We will miss him.

Dear Uncle Don - you mean more to me than you will ever know. Your love has always been unconditional and the wisdom you shared with me throughout my life is immense. From childhood memories on Reeder Road in Alliance, to the vacation visits spent in Florida as a child and adult, they will always be in my heart. Your stories always had meaning, regardless of the humor and I thank your for sharing so much of your life with me. Your raccoons will miss you, as will I, but I know you are now without pain...you were such a trooper and inspiration to me and I know you are in the better place. I hope to see you there! I miss you and I love you! XO

Dear Mrs. Graber and family:
Mr. Graber will be missed not only for the excellent plumbing services he provided over the years but as a fellow Christian. I always knew he would be here on time in his clean white socks - never walked in my house with his shoes on. May you find comfort in knowing that he is now with the Master.

Dear Mrs. Graber and Family,
What a great loss for all of us.
Don was the kindest person and so very funny to boot!
He never ceased to make me laugh when he came to my home for my emergency! We always laughed hard at the memory of him here at our home on Thanksgiving Day so many years ago.
What a wonderful and honest plumber we could always count on.
May he now rest in peace and knowing Don he is working still!!
With Sincere Sympathy and caring,
Linda and Pete Kratzenberg
