Donald SHAFFER Obituary

SHAFFER, Donald R. 92, of Dunedin, FL, pass- ed away on November 18, 2021. He was born in South Bend, IN to Adolph David Shaffer and Pearl Edna (Huey) Shaffer. He is survived by his sons, Mark, Mitch, and Andy; daughter, Susan; his 15 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Donna; and sons, Scott and Kevin. Don was a well-known member of the community, serving as a Dunedin commissioner from 1984-1990. He and Donna were also longtime members of the First Presbyterian Church of Dunedin. Don will be remembered as the wise, thoughtful, and kind-hearted patriarch of his large family. A Celebration of his life will be held at Moss Feaster Dunedin on Sunday, December 5 at 2 pm.
