Dear Grimnes family, The first time I met Mrs Grimnes she asked me to call her "DeeDee". That was over forty years ago. She always had a sparkle in her eyes, a great laughter, and a wonderful story to tell. She lived her life to the fullest while giving of herself. She was our clown "Gussie" at many CMH Baby Block annual events keeping the kids in stitches. I always loved seeing "DeeDee" at Sunday Services First Presbyterian Church of Inverness because I knew she had some encouraging words afterwards. Peace be with you and your lovely family. Sincerely, Marlene

DeeDee, I was so sad to read of your passing. I so enjoyed your visits to my office, our chats and the laughter. Thank you for being my friend, my clown, my little lady and my cookie baker. The best were the lemon bars and the butter cookies you would make special for me to take home. The world has lost a funny, sweet, classy, fun loving woman. I'll see you on the other side my friend!

Jim, Debbie and family: I am heartbroken to hear of Aunt DeeDee's passing. She was so special in my life as my family's. I dearly loved her and have 60+ wonderful years of memories. I wish I had known before today, we would've come out for the celebration. Am also very sad to hear about Mike...and surprised. Please know you are all in my heart and my prayers.
