Dorothy Fisher Obituary

FISHER, Dorothy Jean, age 95, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2015, in Winter Haven, Fla. She was born on April 15, 1920, in Johnstown, Pa., to the late John and Erma (Weaver) Barron. She lived in Sebring for many years and was a founding member of Grace Church of Sebring. She moved to Winter Haven in 1997 after the death of her husband, Harold A. Fisher, who preceded her in 1996. She enjoyed cooking, decorating and arranging flowers. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Survivors include her daughters: Bonnie (Warren) Lee-Fredericksburg, Va., and Lana (Peter) Gebhardt-Winter Haven, Fla., her sister: Joann Hufford-Winter Haven, Fla., grandchildren: Heidi Imes; Kristiaan Lee; Matthew Gebhardt and Corey Gebhardt, great-grandchildren: Jackson; Paige; Holland; Toby; Alli; Zane and Wade. Along with her husband she was preceded in death by her brother: Robert Barron. There will be a graveside service on Saturday, July 18, 2015, beginning at 9:00am at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Avon Park, Fla., with Pastor Dave Ogden officiating. Memorial contributions may be made in Dorothy's memory to: New Horizon Share Home, 2100 State Road 540 W, Winter Haven, Fla. 33880 (www.newhorizonretirementcommunities.com).
