I remember Dottie Womble being spoken of highly by my mother and grandmother. Her name was held high in our household. I am not sure the exact connection but just wanted to share.
May she be remembered fondly by so many whose lives she touched!

I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Dot Womble since 1971. She was a wonderful teacher at Robinson High School in the English Department. Our classrooms were across the hall from one another, and we had wonderful times on hall duty together interacting with students. I learned so much from her and will always be grateful to have been friends with her. Mrs. Womble lived a long, good life always having fun which just might have been the secret to her life well lived. Guess, she may still be teaching us lessons by her example. God bless you, Dot!

I think Mrs. Womble was my 3rd grade teacher at Mitchell Elementary. I am 69 years old and a retired teacher. RIP!
