Eddie HENRY Obituary

HENRY, Eddie Lee 84, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, Wednesday, May 25, 2022. Eddie was born in Jasper, FL and was a resident of St. Petersburg, FL for the past 20 years having relocated from Biloxi, MS. He was a retired Veteran of the United States Air Force. Eddie is survived by his partner of 18 years, Ms. Lisa Kathleen Murphy with her daughter, Tarra Renee Murphy; former wife, Willie Mae Henry; and their daughters, Candias Joe-Strange (John) and Kimberly Joe; sons, Christopher Henry (Kim) and Michael Henry (Dusti); and grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Eddie was preceded in death by Kaleetha Annette Joe-Baggett, Lenitha Iona Henry and Sylvester Allen Joe. He will be greatly missed.

Eddie was a wonderful person, who always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. He loved to cheer people up. Trick-or-treating on Halloween and laughing with Eddie, his partner Lisa and our little girls is a happy memory I will never forget.

My father was the "Greatest of All Time" and hero on as well as off the field. My children and I will miss him so much. He was my confidant, best friend, prayer warrior, and wise counsel. We will miss his sense of humor and affectionate loving spirit.

Fondly remembering our families visit to Universal Studios and what a pleasant time we all had. You were like a kid on your scooter with no speed limits lol!
