Edward KLOSTERMAN Obituary

KLOSTERMAN, Edward A. "Cuzzin' Eddie"

The fun factor in St. Pete Beach plummeted recently with the death of Ed Klosterman. Ed passed away quietly in his sleep February 1, 2017. It was the only thing he did quietly in his entire life. Eddie, or "Cuzzin' Eddie," as he was called, was the life of every party. His life experiences as a sales manager, business owner, and bartender gave him plenty of fodder for entertaining stories loosely based on truth. He began to write his memoirs in a book titled, My Life Behind Bars, however we would always start laughing so hard we never completed it. Eddie's gift for making everyone he met feel good about themselves will be sorely missed by all who loved him.

His extended family includes cousins on his mother's side named Toon or Sullivan. These wonderful people, a best friend, Sandy Surran, and local friends have supported and loved Eddie throughout his two decades living in this area.

Twenty years ago, Ed was predeceased by his then pre-teen son, Brent. He is survived by his beautiful daughter, Amber, who was the apple of his eye, and the source of all his pride. Despite personal tragedy, when asked how he was doing, Eddie would always reply, "I've never had a bad day in my life." He made the most of every day, and especially every night. The family will be planning a memorial service in this area in late October or early November. Donations in memory of "Cuzzin' Eddie" may be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, P.O. Box 4072, Pittsfield, MA 01202.
