Edward Triffun Obituary
November 8, 2018, loving father and brother passed away at the age of 90 due to pneumonia. Edward was born April 10, 1928 in Akron, Ohio to Louie and Dora Triffun. He grew up in Akron with a large family of eight brothers and sisters. He was a military veteran who served in the Army and Air Force. He worked as a draftsman at Electric Boat and General Dynamics. He loved Rays baseball and was an avid bowler before he lost his eyesight in later years. He met the love of his life Doris in England in 1953. They were married for 60 years before she preceded him in death. He is survived by his son, David; daughter, Marilyn Edwards and husband, John; beloved sisters, Sophie Jones and Dorothy Kordich in California and many nieces and nephews.
