Emily Perez Obituary
88, of Tampa, FL, passed away on September 17, 2025 in Tampa. Born in Tampa to Johnny and Millie Martinez, she lived a life of patience, kindness and empathy. Emily often said, "Look for the good in everyone," which she lived by daily. She is survived by her loving children, Tim Perez (Cheryl), Gary Perez, and Loretta Perez Boudreau (Carey); grandchlildren, Carey Jr, Austin Boudreau, Chris, Chelsea, Blaine and Anthony Perez; six great-grandchildren; her sister, Martha Vila; and several nieces and nephews. Her loving and adoring husband, Jorge, predeceased her in 2016, as did her brother, Johnny Martinez Jr., and sister-in-law, Yolanda Perez. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Columbia Restaurant at a later date.
