BORO, Emma "Bernice" 96, died November 28, 2021 at Suncoast Hospice Care Center of congestive heart failure, blissful marriage of 66 years until widowed in 2012, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Born in Louisville, KY, she traveled the world as an Air Force wife and true partner to Bill, they were a team in all things. Dedicated servant of the Lord, lifelong teacher of children, supporter of worldwide missions and the city she loved. A great mind and wit to the end. A life of great courage and optimism through many life challenges. She was a blessing to all who knew her and will be greatly missed. Graduate of Shawnee High School in Louisville and of St. Petersburg Junior College. Long-time member of Northside Baptist Church. Bernice is survived by her daughter, Susan Boro Morris; grandson, Nathan Speicher; and granddaughter, Taylor Ann Speicher. Services will be held Thursday, December 9, 2021, 10 am, Bay Pines National Cemetery, 10,000 Bay Pines Boulevard, St. Petersburg, FL.
