Lisa and family, I was so sorry to hear of Emory's passing. He is no longer in pain and now in the presence of the Lord. You all will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.

Lisa and family,
You don't know me, but I grew up with your dad and mom at Spencer Memorial Baptist. I worked with your dad during high school - driving a truck and lugging heavy boxes of chicken as well as working in the freezer - from a young age your dad was quite the adventurer! Our youth group was a very special "family" to me. Since high school we've all gone our separate ways, experienced our highs and lows, and now we come to our senior years . . . and it hurts when one of us passes from this world into eternity.
I've kept up with your dad's health issues through Rick and Gwen Henderson and through your mom. I'm so sorry for his struggles, but thankful he is no longer in pain and discomfort.
I'm sorry for your loss and I will continue to pray for you. Praying for strength in this "valley" and for brighter days to come.

Lisa and family.....Bob and I are so very sorry to learn of your Dad's passing. I will always have fond memories of Emory. One of our son Mike's favorite memories as a little boy is visiting Emory and Jackie in NC and Mike and Emory catching fish in their backyard. He thought Emory was a "cool" guy and lots of fun.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time.
