I am so saddened to know of Eric's passing. He was am amazing colleague, physician, thinker, educator. He was a cherished friend to me and my family, and many others. His patients loved him, and rightly so.
Eric had a quick wit and was delightfully smart. Conversations with him were always insightful and perceptive.
He will be truly missed.
Condolences to Margaret and Alexis, Brett and Trent, whom he adored.

I am sad to hear of Eric's passing. I moved to Tampa from Boston in 1980, and first met Eric then. My office was on 400 Swann Ave and I ran back and forth to Memorial hospital almost daily, for years. Eric was always friendly and available to talk with about the day and about patients we shared. Though we have not seen each other for years, I will miss knowing of his presence.

Dear Margaret and family, please accept our deepest condolences and we are praying that you are comforted as only the Holy Spirit can comfort you. I wish I could have shared more time with Dr. Harrison (He said to call him Eric, but I have/had a hard time doing that), he was always pleasant and fun to be around. Likely the smartest person I knew. While I know he will be missed by many, I am grateful to know he is resting in the presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
