Dear Grandma,

I love you so much. You helped me get through my past fears, and some of my current fears. You're my inspiration. I think about you in my dreams and even not in my dreams. You mean so much to me and I miss you when I'm not here visiting you. When I'm here seeing you, you help me put a smile on my face and I love helping you so much. When I drew you a picture, it made me feel so good when you told me I was a good artist. When I looked at your drawings, they were so beautiful.

I love you so much, you're the best.

Love, Dream, Hope, and Faith always,

Cassidy

Dear Grandma,

You are a true inspiration to me. You have achieved so much in your life despite any obstacles. Raising a family is by no means easy, as I have come to learn. But with dedication, devotion, and perseverance, everything will work out, as you have shown me.

You also taught me that an education is very important. Your dedication to educating several generations of youths was a true calling of faith. Those youths are now parents and grandparents, and are passing down the knowledge and love you once gave them.

Thinking back to my youth, the following highlights come to mind:

-Running around the orange orchards behind the house.
-Enjoying your special pancakes in the shape of animals, hot air balloons, and faces.
-Being spanked by your classroom paddle and signing it.
-Playing with your pets and cats, even the ones with no eyes.
-Spending the nights on some weekends.
-Having family get togethers at your house, especially holidays.
-Hugging and kissing you and grandpa.
-Visiting with you when you used to come to our house and stay.
-Being inspired to learn to play the piano by your incredible talent.
-Hearing about your classroom stories and your students' antics.
-Enjoying stories about your youth.
-Getting yelled at by grandpa, but I'm sure I deserved it.
-Almost getting the 1968 Rambler as my first car.
-Picking and eating grapes, fresh off the vine.
-Running around the yard at your house, always doing something naughty.
-Looking forward to seeing you and grandpa on weekends and holidays.

Now that I am much older and slightly wiser, my only regret is that I couldn't have spent even more time with you. But the life stories and experiences you have told and shown me will forever be in my heart. I will work to pass down your legacy to my children, tell them your stories, and share with them your experiences.

You are a great lady, a wonderful mother, a loving grandmother, but most importantly a beautiful human being. I will be forever striving to follow in your footsteps. I love you Grandma!

Forever yours,
Dan
