He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Nina Faye Murphy; siblings, Robert Long, Patricia Collins, Hilda Murphy. Surviving are sons, Leslie (Kristina), Tommy Murphy; daughters, Patricia Murphy, Samantha Martin, Tracy Goins; siblings, Larry Murphy, Wayne Long, Arlene Southall, Jeannie Jones; 12 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.
Fred loved to spend time with his grandkids. A Memorial service will be 11am, Friday, January 8, 2016, at Haught Funeral Home, 708 W Dr MLK Jr Blvd, Plant City. Visitation one hour prior to services. Online condolences may be left for the family at haughtfuneralhome.com
