BICKEL, Frederick J. 85, of Clearwater, pas-sed away on December 20, 2021. Fred was born on February 27, 1936, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He attended the University of Cincinnati and served in the US Army before moving to Clearwater in 1977. Fred is survived by his wife of 41 years, Jan; sister, Carol Polston; daughter, Cheryl Hadley; son, Fred Bickel; three grandchildren; 14 great-grand-children; two great-great-grandchildren; a niece and a cousin. During Fred's working life, which centered around sales and marketing, he owned two bicycle stores in Ohio, co-owned Clearwater Point Deli on Clearwater Beach, and sold real estate in North Carolina and Clearwater. He was an avid racquetball player. He was a member of Chapel-By-The-Sea, Clearwater Beach, where a Celebration of Life will be held on January 13 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Chapel.
