George PIERSON Obituary
61, passed away Oct. 13, 2015, after a courageous battle with cancer. George was married to Karen (Baker), the love of his life for 38 years. George was an accountant and proudly served as the CFO at the Academy of The Holy Names for 18 years. George was an avid tennis player. He also enjoyed traveling but his favorite past time was spending time with his beloved family and friends. George is survived by two children, Cheryl Pierson Meyer (Eric) and Stephen Foreman Pierson (Sarah); two granddaughters, Kayla and Avery, and a third granddaughter (on the way). He is also survived by his sister, Joan Pierson; brother, Charles Pierson (Linda); sister-in-law, Cynthia Caryl; and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father, John Pierson; mother, Roberta Pierson; and sister, Lois McRoberts. Contributions may be made to the Academy of The Holy Names, 3319 Bayshore Blvd., Tampa, FL 33629. Services will be held at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park Committal Shelter, 6919 Providence Rd., Riverview, Friday, Oct. 16, 11 am.
