George was my friend since college in Washington DC in the seventies. Then in the 80's we lived in the same building in Manhattan, this is when you discovered aviation.
We used to fly together quite a bit at the time. At first we rented planes, then you bought a Moonie. In the 90's we did not see each other very much, George moved to Florida and took on aviation as a full time job and I moved to California. We last saw each other a short time before the accident when you had come to California to look at another jet. You said you would be back in October and I never heard from you again.
I found out about your fatal accident recently on the web and I am very sad.
Godspeed George to you and your family,
Your friend always, Emmanuel
