To Gloria's entire family,

I was so blessed to have had the opportunity to get to know Gloria over the years at Northwest. I was lucky enough to get to sit right beside her for many years. What I know most about Gloria is the love she had for her entire family and friends. She was definitely the most optimistic, courageous woman I have ever known. I know the last few years had to be so emotionally hard for everyone around her, and for her(but you would never know it).Gloria taught me alot about the power of faith and courage. I recently lost my older brother of 43 last September, very unexpectantly. I know your loss is very overwhelming, and I wish all of you, her family and friends great strength. Gloria you met my brother a couple of times while you both were here, and if you can find him up in heaven, please hold his hand and show him the faith and courage that you have shown all of us here. I will miss you dearly, sweet Gloria. I will keep in my heart the faith that you have taught me, that I will again see you up there. God bless Sam, your sons,daughter-in-laws,and grandchildren. She proudly wore all of your pictures on her purse, and on her desk. You are a very lucky bunch. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

To Sam and Family, Gloria was such a ball of fire! She was a pleasure to be with, but in addition had the respect of those around her as she always told things as they were. She affected many lives and will never be forgotten. She really loved people. You know you have all the prayers and sympathy from her friends at EAL. God bless,

"There are special people in our lives who never leave us -- even after they are gone."

Gloria,

You meant so much to so many people…

TEACHER .. You taught me how to garden, how to gamble and you were still working on the cooking lessons..

WORLD TRAVELER .. I think of all the trips we took together..Scotland (with the unscheduled stop in Boston), then Foxboro on the way home (to see Tony Bennett and a little gambling, of course) and several trips for gambling to Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe (when I got married) and Gulfport. Not to mention the family trips to the beach that I somehow always got invited to :)

INSPIRER .. You were such an inspiration to so many people.. you’ll never know how many people you have helped.
No matter how bad the situation, you always looked at the positive side…and you had so much faith, that you NEVER gave up.

ADVENTURER… You always had a plan…Like you always said, “Sam would have a very BORING life, if it weren’t for you!” and there were lots of times I got to be included in your “adventures.”

And most of all..

FRIEND .. I loved you just like I love my own Mother. I respect you more than anyone I have ever known. I think of that beautiful smile and that laugh. I will miss you every day of my life, but I am so thankful for the time I had with you.
I know you are in heaven, probably sitting at a Blackjack table saving a place at the table for your family and friends. We always did like to have the entire table to ourselves.

I Love You,

Jaye Vega

Dear Caruso family,

We have all lost a very special person, but God has a new angel to watch over us.

She was so loving and so much fun to be around...there was never a dull moment!

I especially remember when I joined EAL in 1967 how she took care of the "new kid"....right up til the time she helped me with unemployment tips when the airline closed in 1991.

7 years ago, at her insistance, I asked my doctor for a chest X-ray & when I was asked "why"...I said 'cause Gloria said so!

I prayed for her every day and every night during those difficult years & I await the day we are re-joined in Heaven...I know she'll be at the gate to show the "new kid" around again. XOXO Eileen
