Grace BARTOLOTTI Obituary

BARTOLOTTI, Grace Martinez 97 years young, went home to the Lord January 22, 2021, and reunited with her soulmate of 65 years, Eugene "Gene" Bartolotti, Violet "Sis", and Nuncy Guarisco. She is survived by four children, Sandra Jean Zale, and Katie, Eugene "Lennie", and Rick Bartolotti; four grandchildren, Michele Miles, Mike Jones, Lisa Hoffower, and Joe Zale; six great-grandchildren, Amanda Miles, Richard, Abby and William Jones, Bailey Zale, and Ariana Hoffower; and one great-great-grandson, Nathan Jones. Nana Grace was a vibrant woman with strong Catholic beliefs. She had a successful secretarial career then retired in 1979 after 16 years of service with the Tampa Police Department. Four grandchildren continue our family's legacy working in law enforcement; three proudly work at the City of Tampa. Enjoying years of retirement, one of her most cherished memories was time spent with Nano and Amanda for nine plus years. In April 2009, Amanda won first place for a poem written about her great-grandparents; their bond was very strong. Nana Grace was so proud of Amanda for graduating with Honors from USF to become a teacher. She loved her children, grand and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and Key West cousins. Her greatest desire was peace and happiness for all. March 20, 2021 is a Celebration of Life at Grillsmith, 14303 N. Dale Mabry Hwy., Tampa, from 1-3 pm. In Nana Grace's honor, please bring a photo for the family to keep and share your fondest memories.
