Greg,
This year was especially difficult. Five years. I remember when you died wondering whrere my life would be 5 years from then.
Much has happened some good some not so good. I so could have used your guidance and help. I try to do what you and I would have done in certain circumstances. I hope you are watching over us. I miss you so much. There will never be anyone that can hold a candle to you

I will love you forever. Don't forget, my Darling. I think of you and miss you with every breath I take.

Always and forever,
Rhonda

My Dearest Greg:

It is hard to believe it has been a whole 3 years without your physical presence. Your laugh, your warped sense of humor, the love you showed me and the children has been sorely missed. You left quite the legacy. Your children are doing well and miss you terribly but there are many things you taught them that are so evident it makes me smile. They were listening, see? Some days are easier than others, but because you taught ME that I was strong and capable of handling life by encouraging my independence -- well at least, most of the time -- I have grown and and worked hard to learn to move forward. I am in Ohio with my parents this 3rd anniversary of your death, and believe me, you live on in their hearts more than you would ever have imagined. We will always miss and love you. Sadly, sometimes you don't realize how much you love someone until they are no longer there. I often wish for that one more day; that one more kiss, that one more, "I love you". I pray you are at peace and ask that you and God continue to protect this family and guide us through whatever the future holds.

Someone told me it isn't the number of years it is the dash between the years...you certainly had a lot of "dash" in your life. I hold our precious memories and love forever in my heart.

Don't ever forget:)
Love always,
Rhonda

My Sweet Greg; This is the second year since your death. It hasn't gotten easier and the pain is still there, but we have grown as a family and you would be proud of us. I miss you more everyday and at times imagine you walking through the front door after work and checking out the fish tank like you always did; but you have a bigger, clearer picture from where you are now than I could ever imagine. I will always love you. We grew up together, we made it! We did it! I just wish you had had more time on earth to appreciate it and spend more time with us. Please keep watch over our family as we continue to live our lives with the void of your physical presence. Please take care of Adam for us, too. Know that you are loved forever. Know that not one moment goes by that you are not in our thoughts. You left too soon a family that needed you and loved you; but you taught us lessons through our lives that helped us pull through together -- as a family -- we are who we are because you loved us. You told me two weeks before your death that you wanted me to be happy, even if it had to be with someone else. I wonder if you had a premonition; but that love you displayed telling me that is also what helped me get through the worst days of my life. I am now happy once again and have a new name; but my heart still holds you in it forever...Don't Forget:)...Ever. I will always love you., Rhonda

Very sad to hear of Greg's passing. I worked with him at McDonald's on Free Pike and lived in the same dorm as Greg in 1972-1973 at UC. Greg was so fun to hang out with. Always had a smile, and a can-do attitude.

Greg once went across the street to Burger King to get some burgers, but they were closed. He pulled on the locked door and it opened, because he was so strong. He said, "Are you open?" The surprised manager said, "We are now!"
