Harry Woodrow MARLOW

MARLOW, Harry Woodrow Born Feb. 14, 1924 in Holder, FL; passed away Oct. 4, 2013 at home in Dunnellon, FL after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Mr. Marlow was a professional land surveyor, highly respected by his peers. He was a faithful member of the Church of Christ and worshipped with West Citrus Church of Christ on the last Sunday of his life. Mr. Marlow is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 65 years, Eloise. He was preceded in death by his youngest son, Stephen E. Marlow. Surviving children are Harry Jr. (Dona) of St. Petersburg, Ginny Shields (Richard) of Dunnellon; grandchildren, Jeff Shields of Dunnellon, Stacy Prpich (John) of Lithia, Craig Marlow (Julie) of Elgin, SC, Blake Marlow of Portland, OR and Brett Marlow of Chicago, IL; and five great-grandchildren; also a sister, Doris Wilder; brother, Ron Marlow; and many dearly loved nieces and nephews; nephew, Ralph Marlow was like a son to him. Harry Marlow was a wonderful, generous and loving parent and grandparent. His generosity knew no bounds! The family will receive friends at the R. Lee Williams & Son Funeral Home 3530 49th Street North, St. Petersburg on Friday, Oct. 11 from 5-7 pm. Funeral Services will be at the 14th Avenue Church of Christ 3737 14th Avenue North, St. Petersburg on Saturday, Oct. 12 at 11 am. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
