ZERVOS, Irene Wilken
(Sarris) native of Florida and long-time resident of Tarpon Springs, passed into eternal rest on Nov. 1, 2017. Surrounded by her family, she joined in heaven her father, Tony (Slim) Sarris; nephew, Michael McGee; and her guiding angel, Adelaide Hogan. Born Oct. 14, 1958, she was an active member and past officer of the Elks Lodge #1719 of Tarpon Springs and a board-member of the Boys and Girls Club of Tarpon Springs. After attending Tarpon Springs High School and graduating from Dunedin High School, Irene spent most of her professional life in the banking industry as a personal banker and branch manager. All of these accomplishments pale in comparison to her greatest joy, her daughter, Karis Wilken. She is survived by her daughter, Karis; mother and father, Terry and John Harrison; husband, George Zervos; brothers, George (Stacey) Sarris and Sam Sarris; sisters, Rozanne (Mickey) McGee and Polly Sue Hogg; sons by marriage, Nick (Angel) Zervos and Mike (Whitney) Zervos; along with a niece, five nephews, nine great-nieces and nephews, two grandsons and two granddaughters. She will be deeply missed; her soul resting peacefully for eternity in Heaven. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Suncoast Hospice Care Center North Pinellas, 164 West Lake Road, Palm Harbor 34684 www.suncoasthospice.org
