Isabel Bonafede Obituary

BONAFEDE, Isabel Catani, 80, of Brandon, died Monday, January 20, 2003 from breast cancer. Formerly from Florence, Italy, she was born June 5, 1922 in London, England to Ugo and Giulia Catani. She lived andwas educated in Florence and worked as an interpreter for the Allied Military Government during World War II. Isabel left her beloved Italy in 1949 and came to America. She was married to Joseph A. Bonafedeand settled in Ridgewood, N.J. In 1986, she came to Florida and was a resident for 17 years. She leaves behind a brother, Renato Pietrini of Florence, Italy; a son, Chris Bonafede of Fair Lawn, N.J.; a daughter, Diane Schuman of Valrico; and five grandchildren, Matthew Schuman of Manalapan, N.J., Erica Schuman of Orlando, Justin Schuman of Valrico, Christopher and Joseph Bonafede of Fair Lawn, N.J.
