EDWARDS, Jacqueline C. Moran "Boots" born July 28, 1929 in Swampscott MA, passed away December 14, 2020 at her home in St. Petersburg, FL with her loving family at her side. She was the only child of Melvin Moran and Leota Gosselin Moran. She spent her early years attending schools in Swampscott/ Lynn, MA; graduating in 1947 from St. Petersburg High School after her family to moved Pinellas County, Florida. As an infant she was given the nickname "Boots" by her Uncle Irving because she always kicked her booties off. Boots retired from General Electric having worked there as a Security Escort for many years. She then began her "second" career working at Derby Lane. With her knowledge of baseball, love of dogs, and outgoing personality, many people became "regulars" at her concession stand; she knew them by name and they her. Boots' passion was baseball. A lifelong Boston Red Sox fan, Boots came to love and cheer on her local team, the Tampa Bay Rays, attending many games. Boots' knowledge of baseball was unlimited. A conversation with her about baseball or anyone playing the game was a lesson in baseball history. Boots was preceded in death by her first husband, Mark F. Swanhart, Dec. 1955 and her second husband, Thomas J. Edwards, Feb. 1977. She is survived by her children, Donna Swanhart, Gary Swanhart (Dianne), Keith Glasgow (MaryAnn), Susan E. Billera, Ann Emmons (Eddie), and Richard "Tommy" Edwards (Lisa); grandchildren, Shelley Swanhart, Joseph Swanhart (Heather), Amy Camire (Nate), Amanda Swanhart Bouaziz, Emily Glasgow, Garrett Glasgow, Lily Glasgow, Jacklyn Billera, Gina Billera, Shawn Clifton, Dr. John Thomas Bush, T.J. Edwards; great-grandchildren, Chris Swanhart, Caleb Swanhart, Hadley Swanhart, Emma Camire, Aden Bouaziz, Kamran Bouaziz, Leila Bouaziz, Travis Tillman, Gemma Tillman, Bentley Johnson, Emmett Edwards, Brisyn Clifton; and rescue kitties, Red and Little Kitty. Burial will be private.
