James BUDD Obituary

BUDD, James Lemen age 77, died on Sunday, April 27, 2014. A lifetime resident of St. Petersburg, he was a devoted family man who liked to fish and travel. He was a graduate of St. Petersburg High School and The University of the South, where he received his B.A. degree and was a member of the Kappa Alpha Order. He served in the U.S. Army in Italy. He was a stockbroker with Goodbody & Co. and Merrill Lynch. He was a member of the Dragon Club and the University Club. He was a lifelong member of The Cathedral of St. Peter, where he served as a lay reader, Sunday school teacher and senior warden. He is survived by his daughters, Laura McKei-then and Hildreth Stafford; his son, Richard Budd; and his grandchildren, Melissa, Julia, and Matthew McKeithen, Sierra and Brooke Budd, and Sarah Grace and Olivia Stafford. A memorial service will be held at The Cathedral Church of St. Peter at 2 pm, on Saturday, May 10, at 140 4th St. N., St. Petersburg. A reception in the parish hall will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to The Cathedral Church of St. Peter. Brown & Sons Funeral Homes
