James MORAN Obituary
85, of Dunedin, passed away Oct. 31, 2014. Born in the Bronx, he graduated from Niagara University in 1951. Jim excelled in basketball at Niagara, setting and breaking many scoring records. His efforts were rewarded with induction into Niagaras Hall of Fame. Jim married his soul mate, Barbara. He served our country in the Naval Reserve. After a successful 35 year career with Goodyear, Jim and Barbara retired to Florida in 1991. Jim was preceded in death by his children, twins, John and JoAnne. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Barbara; children, Jennifer, James Jr. (Patricia); grandchildren, Mackenzie and Bradley; and several nieces and nephews. Viewing will be on Nov. 4, from 2-4 pm, at Curlew Hills Memory Gardens in Palm Harbor.
Mass will be held at 10:45 am, Nov. 5, at Our Lady of Lourdes in Dunedin. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in Jims name to Niagara University Athletics, P.O. Box 2009, Niagara University, NY 14109-2009.

Dear Barbara and family - I was so saddened to hear of Jim's passing. He was such a good friend to my dad and they shared a wonderful bond with their love of Niagara University. Please accept my deepest sympathy.
