Jim hired me to work for VIP when I was a kid in the 1990s. He was tough but extremely fair. He even gave me additional work projects to help me make ends meet when nobody else would. You will be missed.

Jim was a hard working person that did so much for the community as well for the agents that worked for him. As a property manager, I had the pleasure of working with Jim over the many years that I knew him. A fine man that helped so many people on Sand Key and around Clearwater.

Jim was a very likeable and fun loving person with a heart of gold who many of us will never forget. As the "Mayor of Sand Key", Jim touched the lives of countless people, both the young and the old. Jim's passion for life was an inspiration. He had the knack of making a completed stranger feel as though you had known him for years. Jim did live his life to the fullest. Even though Jim has left us, both funny and outrageous Jim Warner stories will continue to be told for many years to come. We will miss you Jim.

Dear Jimmie, Jeff and extended family,

I wanted to send my love and condolences. Jim was one cool guy. I remember Jet Skiing with your dad and my dad. Your dad with the 650 Kawasaki and we had the 550 Kawasaki. They both bickered which was better!!! The one with the speed or the one you could do tricks on. I remember all the beach parties and volleyball from 1480 to Cresent Beach club. We sat next to each other at Wally's wedding and talked all night, I can't remember who made who laugh more. I remember my high school graduation party. I alway's loved going down to your dad's office with my dad and see what he was up to. I even still have my Jim Warner T-shirt for Mayor of Clearwater!!! I'm very happy I spoke with your dad in July when I was home. I loved your dad and will truly miss him! He was the most popular dude ever!!!!! I have so many great memories of your dad and funny ones.
If either one of you need to talk, call me (904) 563-6155 or [email protected] I know what it's like to loose one of your parent's so young and I'm Truly sorry, he'll be missed big time!!!

Has anyone seen my old friend Jim, here was here for a moment, and now he’s gone? How do you diminish a beacon of a light like Jim? He was full of adventure, with the soul of a mischievous boy. I have known Jim to be a man with a big heart, and generous to a fault. There was no stranger to Jim. Ready with a quick hello, a laugh a joke, or a tender hug. Jim was one not to be held back or held down. He was a fighter with each day, even when the light he saw was from above. His mistresses were his golf clubs and the country club. He loved attention, we all have the fond and funny memories, and it was just Jim.
Life will be a little less lived, with no Jim. God speed Jim, you are now at peace. I’ll remember Jim with a tender tug of the heartstring.
My condolences and prayers to his family in their time of need. Jim will be missed, but remembered often when a smile is needed.
