Jane RITSCH

1930 - 2021

RITSCH, Jane M. 91, of Hudson, FL passed away on October 29, 2021. She was born in Chicago, IL and raised her family in the suburb of Lincolnshire before relocating to Clearwater, FL. She moved to Heritage Pines in Hudson 19 years ago. A graduate of Indiana University, Jane had a keen mind, a knack for numbers, and a desire to solve problems. Drawing on those skills, she and her husband built a successful company in Clearwater that was a source of advice and assistance for many small businesses in the community. Jane also loved the outdoors and was an avid golfer. While in Lincolnshire, her passion for gardening led to years of bountiful harvests which were greatly appreciated by her family and friends throughout the area. She was an animal lover, especially dogs and birds. Jane enjoyed traveling the country by car and exploring the world on cruise ships. At the end of the day, she was happiest enjoying a glass of wine and sharing a quiet game of Scrabble with the love of her life. Her gentle kindness and love of laughter will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. Jane is survived by her husband of 68 years, Paul Ritsch; three children, Thomas Ritsch (Joan) of Mt. Pleasant, SC, David Kane-Ritsch (Julie) of La Canada, CA, and Robert Ritsch (Tricia) of Alexandria, VA; and three grandchildren, Dylan Kane- Ritsch, Kelsey Kane-Ritsch, and Alexander Ritsch.
